“Dream Girls” I.O.I (아이오아이) are going to bedazzle you with their debut title track and powerful dance performance.
The highly-anticipated 11-member female idol group of 2016 finally made their official entrance to the K-Pop industry with their first mini-album, “Chrysalis”.
“Dream Girls” is written and produced by Famousbro and Paul. The group’s main rappers Im Na Young and Choi Yoo Jung were also involved in writing the rap lyrics. Their new candy-pop dance track screams typical K-girl group style – positive, cute, energetic, loud, and extremely catchy.
We guarantee that you will singing, “We are the dream girls,” unconsciously throughout the day.
Like other female rookie groups, I.O.I’s music video is very colourful and lively. As the song is about trusting yourself and not giving up, the video shows the girls in different scenarios where they try to do their best, such as cooking, rock-climbing, or studying.
The whole music video concept is actually very much similar (or exactly the same) to Girls’ Generation’s debut single, “Into The New World”.

I.O.I’s debut mini-album, “Chrysalis” consists of 7 songs, including “Crush” and “Pick Me” from the reality programme, “Produce 101”.
The group’s label, YMC Entertainment stated that the mini-album was made available on various music sites simultaneously on 3rd May.
