Several photos of a woman being abused have been circulating on social media – namely on WeChat – this week. This has in turn resulted in a heated debate among netizens online.
It is understood that the woman from Baoding, China was suspected of having an affair with another man. The furious husband decided to teach her a lesson by shaving her head bald – while recording the whole ordeal.
When approached by the media, the woman insisted that she did not cheat but was forced to confess by her husband. Apparently the hubby is a jealous man and deeply insecure. Due to these deep rooted issues, he often suspects her of cheating.
It started when she was communicating with a male business partner and told him not to text her since her husband has a tendency to check her phone. But things took a turn for the worst when he discovered her text message and accused her of cheating.
In a fit of rage, he shaved the top of her head. Judging from the snapshots, this was probably done roughly as blood stains can be spotted on her head. Following the abuse, it is believed that the husband also leaked the clip online in order to shame her publicly.
After the story went viral, many were visibly angry on her behalf. While some felt that if she’s truly innocent, she shouldn’t had admitted to cheating in the first place, the majority agreed that she needs to get out of this toxic relationship immediately.
