Hong Kong actress Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) is a familiar face in Malaysia, having been here many times for work. She recently attended the launch of La Roche-Posay’s new MELA B3 skincare series on 3rd July (Wednesday) at Mid Valley Megamall, where she shared her love for Malaysia and experiences she had.
During an interview, Priscilla humorously mentioned that her visits to Malaysia have become so frequent that she’s now the go-to person for Hong Kong artists who are planning to visit our country. The actress said her fellow celebs often seek her advice on filming locations around Kuala Lumpur. Priscilla also said that she can even recommend services like dentists, doctors and beauticians.
No stranger to our tropical paradise, Priscilla enjoys visiting Malaysia for work and personal vacations, which includes visit to see her godson, Danton, son of Debbie Goh (吴天瑜). However, rather than frequenting tourist spots, Priscilla prefers the local experience of enjoying strolls through vibrant streets, jogging, and savouring local dishes at our local ‘mamak’ restaurants.
Accompanying her on this current trip is her husband, Edwin Siu (蕭正楠). The couple even got recognized by fans while jogging in the park. When asked whether the heat bothers her, Priscilla said she finds comfort in it, thanks to her daily use of La Roche-Posay sunscreen.
Interestingly, Priscilla and Edwin aren’t the only Hong Kong stars in KL at the moment. It was previously reported that the cast of the upcoming drama “Fearless”, which includes stars like Michael Miu (苗僑偉) and Carlos Chan (陳家樂), is currently filming the project in Malaysia. While not part of the cast, Priscilla revealed she met up with the cast and even took them to some local restaurants.
Priscilla and Edwin’s shared love for Malaysia sees them visiting often, with their current stay extending to six days before returning to Hong Kong. We hope the happy couple will have a great stay in KL!
