Last month (August), Malaysian-born actor Hero Tai (戴祖雄) revealed his relationship with Ukrainian model Tatiana Marchyshyna (林佳娜). Many had suspected the duo of being together initially. However, they were just rumours.
Unfortunately, not everyone is happy about the couple, it seems. An anonymous source recently popped up claiming to be a friend of Tatiana’s ex-boyfriend. The source claimed that Tatiana had cheated on her ex with Hero!
When Hero and Tatiana first revealed their dating status, the couple took care to explain themselves. Tatiana shared that she had been attracted to Hero when they met. However, she refrained from starting anything as she was still seeing someone then. Unfortunately, the source claimed otherwise.
According to the self-alleged friend, Tatiana and her ex dated for over three years. In fact, Tatiana supposedly came to Taiwan because of him. She even took his surname Lin as they were still dating at the time. The source stated that the duo had lived together in a well-known luxury pad in Taipei. They added that Tatiana’s ex had also given her pocket money each month and funded repairs for her place in Ukraine.
However, in March 2021, Tatiana was photographed riding on the back of Hero’s bike. Hero had supposedly been sending her back to their place in Taipei. According to the source, that was apparently proof Tatiana was dating at the time. After the photo went viral, Tatiana’s then-boyfriend had supposedly asked her to leave as he could not accept it. Curiously enough, the alleged friend also reportedly provided photos of Tatiana with her ex.
When contacted about the scandal, Tatiana’s agent denied it. “Tatiana and her ex-boyfriend broke up peacefully,” they claimed. “Although they don’t talk often, they maintain a friendly relationship.” The agent added that Tatiana’s ex was not a public figure and had denied knowing the alleged friend.
Tatiana herself has since spoken up about the issue on her socials and reinforced what her agent said. “He (my ex) said that the person who broke the news is not his friend,” she said. “A real friend would not pretend to have breaking news to fabricate (lies).” Tatiana added that her ex-boyfriend did not finance her after the breakup nor did he “pay (her) parents“. The model also stated that they will take legal action against “subsequent untruths“.
Well, Tatiana and Hero’s relationship hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing since they revealed they were officially dating. People had given them flak about having a sexual relationship before a romantic one. But, the couple have clearly been cherishing their time together and we sincerely hope it continues!
