iQIYI is one of the most popular Asian streaming platforms, and we’re sure many of you are subscribed to it to enjoy not only local content but also Chinese dramas and animation. But what if we told you there’s a way to see one of the stars from your screen live in person? Better yet, what if that person happens to be the streaming platform’s ambassador?
You guessed it — yesterday (Thursday, 6th November), iQIYI Malaysia announced that iQIYI STARSHIP will be bringing Chinese actor and global brand ambassador Chen Zheyuan (陈哲远) to Malaysia later this year! Here’s what you need to know:
Born in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, Chen Zheyuan first debuted as a singer as part of the boy group Mr. Bio. Not long after the group disbanded, he made his acting debut in “All About Secrets” on iQIYI in 2017. Since then, he has appeared in numerous other dramas — many of which are also available on iQIYI — and gained mainstream recognition after starring in “Hidden Love” back in 2023.
Now, Malaysian fans will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the 29-year-old in person when he visits the country next month! This visit also marks Chen Zheyuan’s first event in Malaysia, where he will interact closely with audiences during the event. Adding to the excitement, iQIYI has specially invited Fu Yaning — actress, singer, and iQIYI artist — to perform as a special guest, infusing the event with even more energy and star power. Details of the event are as follows:

So, wondering what you need to do? Here’s how you can participate:
- Purchase a Standard or Premium Annual iQIYI VIP subscription via the iQIYI Malaysia website/app or the iQIYI Official Store-Mall on Shopee Malaysia or Lazada Malaysia between 31st October 2025 and 23rd November 2025.
- Complete the official Google Form by providing accurate personal details, including your full name, IC/passport number, UID, email address, and phone number for verification purposes.
- Leave a message for Question 4 in the form, sharing what you like most about Chen Zheyuan, to stand a chance of being seated in the Special Zone.
30 winners will be selected for the Seating Zone (near the stage), and 300 winners will be selected for the Free Standing Zone (at the Spanish Steps).
