Malaysian-born actor Henry Golding and his wife Liv Lo have just expanded their family to 4! The couple welcomed their first child Layla back in 2021. Earlier in May, the couple announced that they were expecting their second child and the due date was said to be sometime around September.
However, it seems the baby was late for the party as the famous parents just shared that the baby was born earlier this week in the month of October.
About a day ago, Henry Golding and Liv Lo welcomed the birth of their second daughter. The couple shared the exciting news through a video on Instagram. “The journey of childbirth is full of its ups and downs, but glorious none the other,” the yoga instructor captioned the post without revealing the name of her newborn.
The beginning of the video showed the couple and their happy moments after birth and the “Crazy Rich Asian” star was also seen cutting the umbilical cord. It appears that there were some complications during labour as the baby was then seen in an incubator. However, it seems that the baby’s health has improved as both mother and child were then discharged from the hospital, happily spending time together at home.
As for the name of the newest addition to the family, Liv officially shared the news on her website that their newborn daughter’s name is Florence Likan Golding. She even confirmed that she did experience some complications during labour such as heavy bleeding and the baby having breathing difficulties but thankfully, her doctors made sure that both she and her daughter were safe throughout the entire process.
Fans and celebrity friends all flooded the comments section congratulating the Sarawakian-born actor and his wife on their second child and wishing Liv a speedy recovery. We too would like to congratulate the couple on the birth of their beautiful baby girl.
