HeatPulse Knee Massager: A Game Changer To Soothe Knee Pain & Sore Joints

Knee pain seems to be a common struggle many of us face as we get older. You can be going about your day and it’ll just hit you at a random time – which can be rough. Even those who exercise regularly – particularly athletes – aren’t spared.

While there are certain types of exercises (e.g.: foam rolling, stretching) that can help alleviate existing knee pain and soothe sore joints, the Hydragun HeatPulse Knee Massager might be a game changer for you.

It’s basically a device that you attach around your knee and it’s designed for several functions. Firstly, it heats a targeted area (knee, arm, or shoulder). Secondly, it provides vibration, while serving as a massager.

The HeatPulse Knee Massager is designed to help with knee injury and reduce pain associated with conditions like knee arthritis, knee ligaments, patello-femoral issues, joints problems, meniscus injury, and muscle strains.

How to use:

  • Place the Heat pulse on the knee cap
  • Connect the top and bottom knee straps; make sure it’s nicely secured
  • Once it’s fitted, take the control panel and line up the 5 pins with the receivers
  • Hold the power button until the screen turns on
  • The 2 controls allow you to adjust the temperature and vibrating speed
  • Optional: you may use the extra strap to wrap it just underneath the vibrating area to compress the heated area
  • Once you’re done, press the power button to turn it off.

The heat and vibration work simultaneously to improve blood flow around the knee, while stimulating healing. The warmer the tissues around the knee, one will feel less stiff. As it heats up the knee, you’ll start to feel the knee area loosening up. The warmth is just nice and we like that it doesn’t get too hot.

In the event that it gets a little hot, you can always adjust the temperature setting. The next-gen HeatLast infrared graphene offers 7 settings, ranging from 40-70°C (104-158°F) and 3 massage speeds. The pros would suggest using the Hydragun Massager before and after you exercise. Depending on your preference, you can use it between 15 – 30 minutes per session (the device will automatically shut off after 30 minutes).

“Prior to exercise, the warmth will help improve blood flow and circulation, as well as decrease any tension, tightness, stiffness, and areas of pain,” certified specialist Dr. Colis explains that the heat will enhance your joint mobility and tissue pliability. “Following (your exercise), the HeatPulse can be a beneficial tool to help keep the joints and musculature warm prior to stretching to enhance tissue flexibility and joint mobility and achieve greatest ranges of motion.”

Pros

  • The 360° Silkro fabric and strap was super comfy to wear and easy to adjust.
  • It’s more than just a knee massager. Thanks to the longer strap, users can also use it for the elbows and shoulders.
  • It’s relaxing. After every use, our knees feel “freer” shortly after.

Cons

  • It’s not designed to use when you’re out and about. You’re rather restricted as it’s advisable to use it when you’re seated and at rest.
  • No drastic changes so far. Perhaps we’ll need to use it for a longer period of time.

Just to be clear though, the Hydragun HeatPulse Knee Massager is in no way a quick fix to your underlying knee problems. If you continue to experience sharp knee pains or constant pains, it’s best to consult a healthcare professional. While we’re still undecided on its long-term effectiveness, every little thing helps.
