It doesn’t take much for a celebrity to fall to ruin. A careless comment or a thoughtless action can cause netizens to be quick about jumping the gun. Unfortunately, it seems Chinese actor He Long Long (何龙龙) might be the next target.
The 29-year-old actor has made quite the name for himself in several popular films and dramas, like “Reunion: Sound of the Providence”. Regretfully, his career might have just been ruined. A video capturing Long physically assaulting his alleged girlfriend has recently gone viral. Needless to say, it has left many upset and disgusted.
The video was first released by gossip blogger 懂瓜呱 yesterday (21st February). It showed Long walking out of a room and saying: “I said, go to the hospital for an examination and it’s over.” He also mentioned something about being cheating on. A woman, presumably his girlfriend, denied cheating and told him to “check the child first“.
Upon spotting the phone in the woman’s hand, Long apparently lost his composure. He told her to put it down. When she refused, he starting hitting her with a broom all while she recorded the incident. Her sobbing could reportedly be heard in the video as the camera shook in her hand. Long later admitted to the assault in another video amidst cursing someone else out.
According to Chinese media, Long’s supposed girlfriend is actually part of his staff. Additionally, there are claims that Long’s relationship with his girlfriend has never been stable. Long has reportedly cheated on her and forced her to take psychotropic drugs. The added video has not helped Long’s image.
Some fans are upset with the actor and have condemned his actions. But, others pointed out that his girlfriend may not be so innocent either. Still, a few are concerned that the news may affect some of their favourite shows which Long acted in.
Well, regardless of who’s in the right and wrong, netizens agree that Long should not have raised a hand in anger. Long himself has yet to remark on the matter. However, we do hope the issue will be dealt with appropriately.
