It is pretty common to hear about a huge age gap within celebrity couples nowadays. Celebrities have the right to choose their partners, as the other party is someone they will be spending the rest of their lives with. However, in some cases, netizens would have a lot to comment about the age gaps.
Recently, Chinese actor Hans Zhang (张翰) was caught on a late night date with Miss Asia Wendy Gao (高文君). The two were reported to have an age gap of 14 years. Their late night date was shared on Weibo through the form of photos and videos and this possible new relationship became a hot topic on social media.
Hans and Wendy were first caught by a reporter getting out of a car together outside of a restaurant. They enjoyed a meal there with a couple of friends and then went to a bar after. After a while, Hans can be seen leaving the bar smiling widely to meet up with a friend outside, with Wendy following him after. The beauty looked to be a bit tipsy as she was swaying in her steps at the side of the road.
There was even a moment between the two of them where Wendy punched Hans gently on the back, as if she was acting a bit flirtatious. This action made it seemed like the two might be more than friends.
After the long drinking session, the group of people along with Hans and Wendy went to a barbeque restaurant for supper. They stayed there until around 3am in the morning, with Hans and Wendy leaving in the same car. The two headed back to Hans’ house to stay the night.
Although Hans and Wendy have been caught on a late night date with each other, there were reports denying their relationship. According to one of Hans’ staff members, they explained that this was only a gathering between close friends, nothing more.
