Jay Chou (周杰倫) and Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌) have always portrayed themselves to be the perfect couple.
Of course, any kind of relationship takes work – especially marriage. Since tying the knot in 2015, the Chou family has expanded to a family of four. While juggling successful careers and two young children, how do they keep the spark alive?
During a recent interview, the 26-year-old actress-model shared that it all comes down to this – “Care”. Hannah continued that regardless of how long you’ve been with your partner, keeping the romance fresh requires constant commitment.
Some may be surprised to hear this but the “Skyscraper” actress added that she usually puts Jay’s needs first, even before their kids (five-year-old Hathaway and three-year-old Romeo).
“I understand that a lot of mums will want to focus all their attention on their kids after giving birth, but I feel that it’s important to have a sense of self-confidence, and to remember to pay some attention to yourself. You have to carve out some time, occasionally, for date nights,” she was quoted as saying.
Hannah also revealed some quirky traits from her young toddlers. Hathaway, for example, is afraid to grow up, because she thinks that mummy won’t be present any longer. On the other hand, Romeo has developed an attentive side where he enjoys helping Hannah prepare the hair dryer when he sees her washing her hair.
