#GSCinemas: 11-Screen Multiplex In Nu Sentral Mall Launched

Leading cinema chain, Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd (GSC) kicked off their 2015 expansion plan with the launch of 11-screen multiplex in NU Sentral Mall today, located next to the nation’s largest transit hub – Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur.

With its strategic location, GSC NU Sentral will be easily accessible via rail, bus or car and is set to enhance the entertainment lifestyle of movie fans in the Klang Valley and beyond.

Speaking at the launch event, Ms Koh Mei Lee (GSC Chief Executive Officer) shared:

The C’s best sums up how the mall and GSC NU Sentral has to offer movie fans – an opportunity to be connected to family and friends as they can converge in a captivating cinema environment and enjoy a seamless movie experience with the convenience of GSC’s online and mobile apps ticketing system via Windows Phone, iOS, and Android.

GSC NU Sentral customers will enjoy clarity with the fully digitalised cinema halls and an immersive cinema-going experience in the THX-certified Hall 3 which is further enhanced with the new Dolby Atmos revolutionary audio technology that transports cinema-goers into an extraordinary entertainment “3D” sound experience”.

With a total of 1,783 seating capacity (includes 22 wheelchair spaces) in GSC NU Sentral, movie fans can look forward to a wider selection of movies in NU Sentral Mall. Total seating capacity for the four GSC locations in the heart of Kuala Lumpur now adds up to 7,432 seats in 44 screens, i.e. GSC NU Sentral, GSC Quill City Mall, GSC Berjaya Times Square, and GSC Pavilion KL.

Online ticketing and concession facility (GSC e-Payment and e-Combo) for both internet and mobile purchases (via GSC Mobile app –Windows Phone, iOS and Android) are available in GSC NU Sentral. This includes auto-gate features to provide convenience to customers

Besides movies, GSC NU Sentral is also an ideal venue to host corporate and private events such as product launches, conferences and seminars as it is equipped with audio-visual presentation facilities in addition to comfortable seating.

In conjunction with GSC NU Sentral opening, the customers can look forward to GSC’s collaboration with NU Sentral’s F&B tenants, Simply D and Sakae Sushi from 29th Jan – 28th Feb. For every purchase of 2 GSC NU Sentral tickets, customers will receive F&B vouchers from Sakae Sushi (RM 15 cash voucher with minimum spend of RM 50) and Simply D (Get 1 Simply D ice-cream of your choice).
