The Pokemon craze has taken over the world, and well, with the release of the game in Malaysia, plenty of companies are seeing this as a chance to capitalise on the trend.
Grab is one of the companies doing so, as they are offering RM5 off your ride to and from selected PokeAreas. You only have to key in the promo code “GRABPOKEMON” when you book your ride from today (Tuesday, 9th August) to 15th August.
What are PokeAreas, you ask? Well, according to Grab, they are places which record high Pokemon activity and are recommended for Pokemon hunting.
However, it only applies for your first 2 rides, and will only work on GrabCar (Economy) rides. It is not available with other promotions and is limited to 10,000 rides throughout the promo period.

- Key in the pick-up point.
- Type in “POKEAREA” as the drop-off point to see a list of Grab’s selected “PokeAreas”.
- Key in promo code “GRABPOKEMON”.
