The much-loved, homegrown Good Vibes Festival (GVF) will evolve this year into a 2-day international outdoor music festival on 12th August and 13th August 2016 at its new verdant venue The Ranch @ Gohtong Jaya in Genting Highlands.
The 3rd edition of #GoodVibesFest promises a bucketlist line-up with twice as many international and Malaysian acts as before.
The first of 2 announcements, #GoodVibesFest has secured headliners including Manchester’s purveyors of infectious pop hooks and sprawling electro sonics The 1975, Irish indie chart favourites Two Door Cinema Club, and anthemic indie-rock 5-piece The Temper Trap .
Joining the aforementioned powerhouses are Canadian electro-pop pair Purity Ring, Australia’s own renaissance man and beatmaker Ta-Ku, and producer and remix wizard Ryan Hemsworth .
From the homefront, acts announced so far include Enterprise , indie-pop maven Froya, Jumero, dream-pop pairing Juno and Hanna, scene veterans Seven Collar T-shirt, riotous pop Ampangites The Fridays, and Edwin from They Will Kill Us All’s new rock and roll outfit Toko Kilat.

Good Vibes Festival’s new and improved incarnation adds 18 new acts from its first announcement in May.
Joining the party are Grammy award-winning producer Mark Ronson (Uptown Funk, Valerie), electronic music wunderkinds Disclosure (You & Me, Latch), brother-sister folk duo Angus & Julia Stone (Big Jet Plane, The Heartbreak), post-punk revivalists Tokyo Police Club (Hot Tonight, Wait Up) and neo-R&B songstress Alina Baraz (Fantasy, Make You Feel).
The weekend festival is also adding a massive list of local acts, from the well-loved and familiar to new names to remember. See: Kyoto Protocol, +2dB, Mutesite, Indiego & Co., Dangerdisko, Twinkies, WH, Curzon, JHin, Emir Hermono, Axel Groove, MMMeng, and Guibooo.

Tickets will be available for purchase, with phase 1 of sales launching at 3pm on Tuesday, 3rd May 2016 at www.boxtix.asia. Ticket prices will increase in stages closer to the festival.
