Godfrey Gao (高以翔) was finally laid to rest and cremated yesterday (Sunday, 15th December) at Taipei First Funeral Parlour.
According to China Press, approximately 300 relatives and friends – including girlfriend Bella Su – showed to pay their last respects at the funeral service.
Godfrey’s 2 elder brothers were reportedly the first to arrive at the funeral parlour. One of them was seen cradling an urn in his arm as he emerged from a vehicle. 3 Buddhist monks were present to greet them at the spot.
The late star’s brocade-draped casket was then led into the parlour. During the ceremony, Godfrey’s parents and loved ones had red and swollen eyes from crying. The cremation, which lasted around 70-80 minutes, saw Godfrey’s siblings reciting Buddhist scriptures with the monks.
