Good Vibes Festival 2019: 1st Lineup Includes Rae Sremmurd, Daniel Caesar & More

Malaysia’s homegrown music festival, Good Vibes Festival, will be returning to Genting Highland with world-renowned artists and a brand new Electric Fields.

It’s 6th edition, which will happen this coming July, has just announced its first list of stellar line-up. At the top of this list are hip-hop duo Rae Sremmur (well known for their Mannequin Challenge memes song “Black Beatles”), R&B singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar and American ambient pop band Cigarettes After Sex.

Music lovers will also get to see American rapper RUSS and British alternative rock band Nothing But Thieve will make their Malaysian debut on the #GVF2019 stage. Joining them are Mura Masa, Baltimore-born rapper 6lack, Cuban-American Sabrina Claudio, Jess Connelly and New York-based electronic music producer Jai Wolf.

Good Vibes Festival 2019 will also see first-time appearances by South Korean acts. Alternative R&B singer-songwriter Dean and South-Korean producer and singer Rad Museum are expected to draw in K-pop fans.

In conjunction with the new and improved Electric Fields, Norwegian DJ Cashmere Cat and Australian DJ Anna Lunoe will be driving concert-goers into a dance frenzy with their chart-topping tunes.

On the local front for 2019 are RYÖT JONES, upcoming rap star Kidd Santhe, NEXT ORDER, a new supergroup by Malaysian DJ veterans Goldfish + JHin, and BATE. They will be joined by indie-folk triumvirate The Impatient Sisters, Malaysian heartthrobs Midnight Fusic, electro duo Dizkopolis, indie-pop band Lost Spaces as well as Allester Shaun.

The details to Good Vibes Festival 2019 are as follows:

  • Date: 20th – 21st July 2019
  • Venue: The Ranch at Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands
  • Ticketing for 2-day passes: RM360 (Early-bird), RM390 (Phase 1), RM420 (Phase 2), RM450 (Phase 3).

General ticket sales start on 26th March 2019 at 11am, while U Mobile exclusive pre-sale tickets go live on 25th March 2019 at 12pm. For more information, visit www.goodvibesfestival.com.
