Go Old School With Vans X HYSTERIC GLAMOUR’s New Shoe Collab!

From socks to shirts, Vans is one of the leading brands in streetwear apparel, but they are the undisputed KING when it comes to skateboarding shoes. Of course, one of this American apparel brand’s most well-known designs is the Old Skool shoe model.

This signature footwear has been the premier model of Vans’ shoe line. But just because it’s not broken, doesn’t mean it can’t be improved upon – which is where HYSTERIC GLAMOUR comes in.

The Japanese designer brand, known for its vibrant creations in everyday fashion items, has breathed new life into Vans’ iconic design. The two brands have combined skate and car culture to create a new, notable design for an all-time classic.

Drawing inspiration from American muscle cars, the side panel of the shoe is enveloped in HYSTERIC GLAMOUR box logos that neatly blend with the black suede heel overlays and toe boxes. Despite some significant changes, the iconic all-white midsoles remain, but they are contrasted with HYSTERIC GLAMOUR’s ‘SEE NO EVIL’ stamp, which can be found on the back of each sneaker’s heel.

The iconic design has been finished with white, clean laces, which add a touch of flair to the black suede leather. The dynamic outsoles on the right shoe feature the same HYSTERIC GLAMOUR box logo, while the left shoe has a bright blue HYSTERIC GLAMOUR motif.

To leave their mark, the insoles are the same bright blue colour and are stamped with Vans and HYSTERIC GLAMOUR co-branding.

The Vans x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR Old Skool is on sale now and can be purchased from Safari Lounge’s official website.
