Christian Louboutin salutes the timeless colour palette of Chinese culture through its craftsmanship and ingenuity, unveiling the 2025 Chinese New Year Capsule Collection.
The new drop encompasses shoes, handbags, and accessories. Celebrating the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year, the campaign features global brand ambassador Yang Mi alongside other models.
In traditional Chinese culture, red symbolises good fortune, passion, happiness, and hope. The classic “red sole,” as the signature colour of Christian Louboutin, also encapsulates the house’s unique French romance.
Mr. Christian Louboutin, the founder and designer, interprets the elegant charm of contemporary women through the new Miss Z Pumps. Within the Capsule Collection, two variations of the Miss Z, both with an 80 mm heel height, are presented: the red version exudes a distinctive Oriental charm, while the black version embodies timeless elegance.
The Christian Louboutin’s 2025 Chinese New Year Capsule Collection also introduces the novel Astroloubi sneakers. Dominated by a vibrant red hue, the sneaker is adorned with hand-embedded crystals and spikes in a geometrically inspired design, adding depth and imparting a sense of fashion and luxury to the athletic shoes.
The unique Strobel stitching imparts flexibility and softness to the shoes, while the lightweight and breathable open-cell foam insole, paired with a durable and quick-drying lining, elevates the comfort experience, allowing for effortless movement and agility in dynamic activities.
The 2025 Chinese New Year Capsule Collection also showcases pieces from the Loubitwist series, including handbags and accessories. The Loubitwist Clutch has been reimagined in patent leather. The chain design adds versatility for shoulder or crossbody wear, enhancing diverse styles. The Bracelet continues the classic colour palette of black and red, with contrasting lustres of patent leather and metal complement each other beautifully, illuminating hopes for the Chinese New Year.
