Resorts World Genting is set to revive the music scene by hosting its first concert since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented back in March.
Titled The Jeryl & Masya “MY SISTA” Live in Genting 2020, Jeryl Lee Pei Ling (better known as Jeryl, 李佩玲) and Siti Nurmasyitah Mohd Yusoff (better known as Masya, 玛莎) will be joining forces to serenade fans.
In case you didn’t know, the girls had previously performed together in the Arena of Stars. The upcoming concert will mark their 3rd time entertaining fans at the venue. Both Jeryl and Masya have more in common than you think.
Besides hailing from the northern states of Malaysia (Jeryl is a Penangite while Masya comes from Kedah), the pair found fame from taking part in reality singing competitions. Interestingly, the duo was also chosen to sing “Left Shoulder” – a Mandarin single released by the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic ties
between Malaysia and China.

To ensure the safety of concert-goers, Genting will be carrying out several procedures in compliance with the government’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Customers aged 12 years old and below and those aged 60 years old and above are highly discouraged from attending the event. In addition, all seats will be marked and arranged in accordance with physical distancing measures.
