“At the Curve, we believe that Chinese New Year represents more than a celebration, it’s a chance to reunite with family, pay homage to tradition, and share special moments across generations,” said Ms Elaine Liew, General Manager of the Curve. “Designed as a space where families and friends can gather and connect, the Majestic Village of Fortune invites visitors to celebrate the New Year in a meaningful way.”

Bringing the village to life is an exciting lineup of cultural performances and interactive experiences curated to delight visitors of all ages. Shoppers can look forward to the auspicious God of Prosperity Walkabout and the energetic Lion Dance performances, symbolising luck and prosperity for the year ahead. Traditional arts take centre stage with Guzheng performances, live speed painting, and dynamic Wushu performances. Meanwhile, talented young performers also dazzle audiences with lively Diabolo showcases. Additionally, little ones can enjoy hands-on fun at the Little Lucky Craft Workshop.

Complimenting the festive atmosphere is the Prosperity Market, inspired by the bustling traditional streets where culture and community flourished side by side. Visitors can explore a thoughtfully curated selection of festive treats, traditional attire, jewellery, floral arrangements, handcrafted goods and artisanal products. Reflecting the Lunar New Year’s symbolism of prosperity and shared abundance, the Prosperity Market also underscores the Curve’s ongoing commitment to supporting local SMEs while encouraging meaningful festive gifting.
