We went full monke at the Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition debut; oohed and aaahed at Furla’s divine Spring Summer 2024 preview; made the right guess at GUESS’s The Exchange TRX outlet launch, and MUCH, MUCH more. Furla Spring/Summer 2024 Preview
As a tribute to the natural landscapes of Italy and its colors and fragrances, the new Furla Spring Summer 2024 collection includes Furla Gerla, Furla Giove, Furla Flow, Unica Furla and Furla Club. Whether it’s cool summer vibes or wondrous functionality, Furla’s style is perfectly adaptable to the body’s lines with a “made-to-measure” effect.
We met actress Ziha Salleh and singer Yaya Zahir, together with beauty influencers May Ho and Lisha Ho, at a dazzling showcase of Furla’s latest drops at its bussin’ KLCC store. Here’s what went down:

GUESS Outlet Opening @ The Exchange TRX
From denim to evening wear, GUESS showcased a sensational range of fits from its Spring/Summer 2024 collection in a fashion show staged as part of the glorious grand opening of its new The Exchange TRX outlet.
A constellation of Malaysian celebrities and influencers were in attendance, looking chic in their snatched GUESS outfits. There was fashion, beautiful people and music – all making for an unforgettable evening. Check out what you missed (no shade):

Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition Launch
Manga and anime fans – your time has come! Relive your childhood memories when you check out the long-awaited “Fullmetal Alchemist” exhibition at Pavilion Bukit Jalil! Located on the 2nd floor, Orange Zone, the new attraction offers fans a deep dive into the story of the two brothers who tried to resurrect their deceased mother.
Apart from the Manga Universe Showcase, which features iconic pages of the popular series, fans can also participate in the Interactive Activity, where they will be given an event brochure to collect all six stamps scattered throughout and unlock the magic at the end of the exhibition. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf X Tokidoki Launch
It was a big day for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, as the company partnered up with tokidoki just in time for the Lunar New Year. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s first-ever collaboration, fans of both brands can expect amazing, exclusive goodies sure to add sweetness to their day.
The two companies have created limited-edition merchandise, ranging from stainless steel tumblers and water bottles, to even pins – each of them featuring one of the iconic characters from tokidoki, such as Donutella, Buddy Sip, Sandy, and B-Dragon. Additionally, the The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is featuring a whole range of Lunar New Year-themed drinks that we simply had to indulge in.
Presiding over the launch was none other than Simone Legno, co-owner and artist for tokidoki, who shared a word of thanks about the companies’ partnership. The talented Italian artist even drew characters for long-time fans of the brand. Here’s what happened:

Bath & Body Works Unveils ‘Luminous’ Range
Body care brand Bath & Body Works has released another stunning seasonal range – the ‘Luminous’ line for the Lunar New Year. As the newest addition to the BBW portfolio of prestigious fragrances, the ‘Luminous’ line blends three luxe fragrance notes – ruby currant, gilded iris and praline amber – to create a rich and decadent scent that makes every occasion feel special.
At the launch event and CNY pop-up at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, we checked out every product in the new line, and also explored other on-site activities like a personalisation corner and zodiac prediction station.

Human Haus Debuts First Malaysian Store
Online fashion powerhouse YUYU Active has partnered with Human Haus in Malaysia, and fashionistas are rejoicing. Founded in Taiwan in 2019, YUYU is a sport-inspired lifestyle apparel company targeted at women. Within a year, YUYU has become a hot topic among trendsetters, receiving critical acclaim worldwide, especially in Asia. YUYU is largely driven by its ability to keep up with rapidly-changing fashion trends and being a leading trailblazer.
Thanks to the joint venture between YUYU and Human Haus, fashion lovers in Malaysia can now shop for trendy clothing at its physical store Pavilion Elite KL. Here’s what went down during the outlet’s launch:

Monki Drops Lunar New Year Collection
Fashion brand Monki recently dropped its Lunar New Year collection – and we got a closer look at all the vibrant pieces at the brand’s Pavilion Kuala Lumpur store!
With a theme celebrating the Year of The Dragon, the entire collection channels the essence of the mythical and powerful creature to bring stunning and fiery pieces. At the collection preview, we got to check out every piece from the selection (and shop the rest of Monki’s line). And in true Monki style, there was also a temporary tattoo bar and a manicure station to complete our dragon-inspired looks!

TiQaco Raya Collection Launch
It’s never too early to go shopping for your Raya outfit. Many would wait until Ramadan to buy and organise their Eid ensembles, but if you can’t wait that long, then don’t worry, there’s a fashion brand that’s already one step ahead of everyone.

‘The Holdovers’ Screening At Velvet Cinemas
If you’re looking for a movie house that gives off classic vibes, then Velvet Cinemas is the place to go to. We definitely enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of the joint, and what better way to enjoy the venue than with a movie set in the 70s? That’s right – we were invited to a preview showing of the Oscar-nominated movie, “The Holdovers”.
The story is about a curmudgeonly teacher at a New England prep school who remains on campus during Christmas break to babysit a handful of students with nowhere to go. He soon forms an unlikely bond with a brainy but damaged troublemaker, and with the school’s head cook – a woman who just lost a son in the Vietnam War.

Avenue K’s CNY ‘Eden Of Opulence’
Avenue K Shopping Mall is inviting you to enter their ‘Eden Of Opulence’ this Chinese New Year. The nature retreat-themed campaign aims to create a lush atmosphere that resonates with the New Year themes of flourishing growth and familial joy.
At the launch event, we were greeted by the Centre Manager of Avenue K, Rachel Er, who shared her thoughts about the campaign. We also toured the various on-ground activities, like the CNY bazaar and the wishing tree. Of course, no Lunar New Year celebration is complete without a blessed Dragon Dance performance, plus a captivating Chinese Face Changing Show.

Bomb Battle Elite Opening @ Atria Shopping Gallery
