The full trailer for “Fuller House” has been released exclusively on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and it has hit us right in the feels.
Kids of the 80s and the 90s will be able to relate.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show get-together saw Candace Cameron Bure (who plays D.J. Tanner-Fuller), Jodie Sweetin (who plays Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (who plays Kimmy Gibbler) sitting on Ellen’s iconic couch and talking about the reboot series.
The girls revealed that even after all these years, the “Full House” cast is still close because they’re great friends.
We do keep in touch. We have a group chat among the cast.
While shooting “Fuller House”, the girls also brought their own kids to the set. Jodie gushed, “To have that experience where I got to sit with them on the couch in the original set was a moment I never thought in a million years that I’d get to have.”
And speaking of kids, while the youngest Tanner will not appear in the upcoming “Fuller House” episodes, Candace said that the doors are always open for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen if they want to make a special guest appearance, should the show get picked up for a 2nd season.
“We make reference to them on the show though, so they are not forgotten. We talk about them,” Candace revealed.
Some of the most memorable phrases from “Full House” are brought back in the trailer, including Stephanie’s “How rude!” and Uncle Joey’s classic phrase, “Cut it out!”
Show favourite Uncle Jesse (played by John Stamos) also brings it home with his “speech” at the family dinner, “Before we eat, I have something very important to say, okay? Damn, we all still look good!”
