Everyone’s heard of the recent craze over the Dubai pistachio kunafa chocolate bars, but which ones are really good? People tend to jump on bandwagons the moment they become slightly popular but get disappointed when it doesn’t live up to the hype.

Well, it’s been a few months since the bar first went viral, and we’ve had many influencers trying and rating different remakes of the chocolate bar. Some were loved dearly, while others were not. So, we’ve curated a list of the 4 most popular Dubai chocolate bars around Kuala Lumpur with good ratings for you to try! Let’s jump right in:

1. Kunafa Finger’s

Kunafa Finger’s has been around in KL since last year but only recently became popular due to the rising popularity of kunafa desserts, specifically the kunafa pistachio chocolate. Priced at only RM29.90 per piece, these are one of the more affordable chocolate bars. Not only that, they also serve other kunafa-centered Arabic sweets at their café in Bukit Bintang, so do check them out!

2. Zaitoun

Like any other popular food stall, Zaitoun also lies in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, right in Bukit Bintang. Specialising in desserts from the Middle East, Zaitoun offers a wide range of kunafa sweets, including the famous chocolate bar. The bars here have thin chocolate outer shells and thick kunafa pistachio filling inside—just the perfect ratio of each part! Priced at RM30, it’s worth indulging in this chocolate every once in a while.

4. Vlinder Chocolate

Now, here’s the real deal! Originating from Saudi Arabia, Vlinder offers a plethora range of chocolate bars for you to choose from, including the famous kunafa and pistachio bars. Although there aren’t any physical stores for this brand in Malaysia, you can still get your hands on them at Jaya Grocer. They cost RM109.90 each, but we can assure you that this will be the closest thing to the original Dubai chocolate bar, so what are you waiting for?

Here’s a review:
