Composed and produced by Aisha Retno and RADi, “Raya Nak Ke Mana?” is filled with nostalgia, from its instrumental arrangement and vocals to its lyrics. If parts of the melody sound familiar, that’s because the song samples “Maafkan Kami” from Pendekar Bujang Lapok. Who doesn’t love a good throwback?
“Jom Raya” – Daiyan Trisha feat Alfie Zumi
Daiyan Trisha and Alfie Zumi have teamed up to deliver an incredibly chill Raya track. The music video captures the calm of the morning on the first day of Hari Raya—an intimate moment shared by many Malaysians—before transitioning to a more vibrant and lively atmosphere, complete with a display of fireworks that we’re all too familiar with.
“Serumpun” – Mimifly
Mimifly has done it again! After the success of her comeback single “Angkat”, the local singer-rapper went viral once again with the release of her first Raya song, “Serumpun”. The song and music video received an overwhelming response from fans, with many praising the track, visuals, and the incorporation of sign language in the choreography. “Lagi Lagi Tak Dapat Raya” – Floor 88 & Baby Shima
You can always count on Floor 88 to return with another song for the festivities. This time, the band has teamed up with Baby Shima on “Lagi Lagi Tak Dapat Raya.” The music video tells the story of the artists struggling to make ends meet and, in an effort to celebrate the upcoming holiday, resorting to all sorts of shenanigans. One of the highlights of the video is when they experience supernatural disturbances while in the forest.
“Raya Pum Pang” – Fazura and Syasya Rizal
Former DOLLA member Syasya Rizal had been teasing fans that she was working on new music, but no one expected it to be a collaboration! She and Fazura released their duet “Raya Pum Pang,” and fans were overjoyed to see these two stars return to music. Although the music video is fairly simple, the artists had no trouble captivating their audience with their showmanship.
“Meriah Lain Macam” – Hael Husaini and Nadeera
After making waves at the 39th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL39), Hael Husaini and Nadeera are back with a strong collaboration on a colourful Raya song titled “Meriah Lain Macam”. The song, written by Hael and Iqie Hugh, tells the story of a couple who are busy preparing to return to their village for Raya – with all the chaos and hilarity that comes with it!
“Hilang Dari Raya Ku” – Yuna
Yuna is keeping it simple with her new Raya song “Hilang Dari Raya Ku”. With just her soothing voice, a guitar, and a cello, the singer takes us on an emotional journey to reminisce on the time we spent with the ones we lost. “This is a song that I wrote & recorded 3 weeks ago after seeing a photo of my late cousin. May we never forget those who have left us and the way they used to make us feel! Selamat Hari Raya everyone ❤️”
“Jodoh Hari Raya” – Dayang Nurfaizah
Who says you can’t find love during the Hari Raya celebrations? Dayang Nurfaizah is bringing classic Malay music back with her latest Raya track, “Jodoh Hari Raya”. The song features a nostalgic instrumental and melody, reminiscent of those heard in P. Ramlee movies. As for the lyrics, the singer expresses her hope of finding the right man to steal her heart and celebrate the festivities together.
“Nyam Nyam Ketupat” – Zizan Razak, Wani Kayrie, Dinda Dania & Miss Alvy
If there’s one thing everyone looks forward to every Raya, it’s definitely food. And that’s the main theme of the song “Nyam Nyam Ketupat”, sung by Wani Kayrie, Dinda Dania, Missalvy and Zizan Razak. With a catchy melody, entertaining lyrics and the ketupat element as the main icon, this song will not only brighten up the atmosphere, but will also become a favourite of everyone who listens to it.
“Dam Dim Dum Raya” – Nadeera
The song “Dam Dim Dum Raya” marks Nadeera’s first Raya solo single as an artist. What’s more interesting is that the singer herself was involved in the creation process of this song, making it even more meaningful for her and her fans. The song is about the final moments of Ramadan and the excitement of welcoming Syawal with family and friends. With a nostalgic melody and heart-touching lyrics, this song is sure to accompany fans throughout the festive season.
“Syawal Berseri” – 3P
Hari Raya isn’t just for Muslims; everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations! Local trio 3P released their first-ever Raya song titled “Syawal Berseri,” which is a Raya rendition of the Chinese New Year hit “南北大道,” with Malay lyrics. Since the release of the song and music video, the group has received nothing but praise from Malaysian netizens, particularly those from the Muslim community.
“Tak Balik Raya” – Umairah
We can’t have a Raya playlist without featuring the niece of Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza now can we? Umairah is following in her aunt’s footsteps with the release of her first Raya single “Tak Balik Raya”. Speaking of her aunt, Malaysia’s no.1 singer also happens to be the executive producer of the music video!
“Raya Telah Tiba” – Wany Hasrita
Malaysia’s sweetheart, Wany Hasrita, is back to light up the festive season with her latest Raya single, “Raya Telah Tiba”. Unlike her previous Raya songs, “Raya Telah Tiba” takes a more upbeat, playful, and feel-good approach, offering a refreshing twist to Wany’s signature pop ballad and traditional sound. This time, she’s bringing a fun, high-energy vibe that will get everyone in the mood to celebrate!
“Oohaa Raya” – Sharifah Zarina & Athalia
Who doesn’t love a mother-daughter duo? Singer Sharifah Zarina Wan Hassan has released her latest Raya song, titled “Oohaa Raya”—an adorable duet with her daughter, Athalia Deena Buswani. This song marks Malaysia’s first-ever Raya track to feature a mother-daughter duet. According to the singers, the word “Oohaa” in the title is taken from the Iban language, meaning “Hello” or “Hi.”
“Ini Hari Raya” – Alif Satar & The Locos feat. Azizulhasni Awang
Never a dull moment with Alif Satar & The Locos. For this year’s Hari Raya song, the band collaborated with Dato Azizulhasni Awang for the uptempo “Ini Hari Raya”. The track is perfect to be played when you’re on the road with the windows down while singing along to the lyrics. And if your car broke down in the middle of the road, perhaps the music video will give you some ideas on how to deal with the situation.
TRadisi Raya – Farisha Iris ft Dahlia Rizal
If you’re looking for a cute addition to your Raya playlist, look no further than Farisha Iris’s latest track, “TRadisi Raya”. The song and its music video capture the atmosphere before and during the Raya celebrations. According to the singer’s Instagram caption, the single was produced by her older brother, Farez Asmadi. Who knew that releasing a Raya song could be such a fun family project?
“Aidilfitri Di Malaysia” – Douglas Lim
No one expected comedian Douglas Lim to release a Raya song, but here he is. “Aidilfitri Di Malaysia” is certainly about unity, with lyrics humorously told from the perspective of local Chinese and Indian communities who look forward to celebrating the Raya holiday with their Malay friends.
