“The Exorcist: Believer”

Directed by David Gordon Green, this new instalment in the iconic horror franchise revisits the chilling tale that has influenced the genre for decades. When a young girl becomes possessed, her father seeks help from someone who experienced a similar horror in the past. The film stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Ellen Burstyn, promising a return to the spine-tingling suspense that made the original a classic.

Premieres: 10th August on HBO GO and 17th August on HBO (Astro Ch 411/ Unifi TV 401)

“City of God: The Fight Rages On”

This HBO Original series is an adapted continuation of Paulo Lins’ acclaimed work. Set in the early 2000s, it revisits the gritty reality of Rio de Janeiro two decades after the events of the renowned film City of God. Featuring a mix of new narrative and flashbacks, the series stars Alexandre Rodrigues and Thiago Martins, and delves into the lives of its unforgettable characters.
