We’ve had a couple of local celebs making headlines last month after fans assumed that they were pregnant. Former DOLLA member Syasya has yet to address the latest rumours but actress Juliana Evans clarified that the “baby bump” was just baby fat from her last pregnancy.
While some stars denied rumours, others have happily shared the exciting news of their pregnancies and plans for their future child. Let’s take a look at some of these expecting celebrity parents:
1. Tyra Kamaruzzaman and Emran Rijal
Influencer Tyra Kamaruzzaman officially announced on her Instagram that she’s expecting her first child with her husband fashion designer Emran Rijal. The couple, who tied the knot a few months ago, decided to wait until the time was right to officially make the announcement.
“My bump’s out and about and a few might have already known and guessed but we’re blessed with the presence of our precious little one that’s growing in me every single second,” the internet personality wrote on her post.
2. Datin Intan Najuwa and Datuk Ahmad Azraf Azman
Recently, actress Intan Najuwa shared the exciting news that she and her husband Ahmad Azraf Azman are expecting their first child after happily showcasing her growing baby bump in an Instagram post. While many were happy for the couple, others assumed that the 26-year-old had been wasting her husband’s money on baby items.
The star quickly took to IG Story to clarify that the rumours were false. “I am capable of standing on my own two feet. Please, stop assuming that I use my husband’s money for everything. I take care of my own financial matters,” she wrote.
3. Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar
It was reported last week that singer Lesti Kejora is pregnant and unlike most celebs on this list, she’s currently expecting her second child with her husband actor Rizky Billar. The couple made the announcement when they appeared on the “Dahsyatnya 4 Tahun Perjalanan Cinta Leslar” show and apparently, they decided to keep the pregnancy a secret until they celebrated their wedding anniversary.
4. Eza Yayang and Ketty Katalya
Another Indonesian celebrity couple announced that they are also expecting; and just like their peers Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar, singer-actor Eza Yayang and his wife Ketty Katalya will be welcoming their second child. When speaking to reporters, the 42-year-old said that his wife is doing fine. “She feels nauseous when she sees sunlight. No one knows why but she’s fine for the most part,” he said.
5. Shim Hyung Tak (심형탁) and Hirai Saya
On 12th July, it was reported that actor Shim Hyung Tak’s wife Hirai Saya is pregnant with their first child. The soon-to-be parents are expected to welcome their new member of the family next year in January. The couple previously made headlines for their 18-year gap relationship with the “Touch Your Hear” star being 46 years old and his partner being 28 years old.
6. Lee Yoo Young (이유영) and husband
Early last month, Korean actress Lee Yoo Young’s agency Ace Factory officially announced that the star recently married her non-celebrity husband and that the couple are expecting their first child together. “We would be grateful if you could send your warm congratulations and kind interest to Lee Yoo Young as she embarks on this new chapter of life as a wife and soon-to-be mother,” the company wrote.
