As Deepavali approaches this 31st October, Malaysians are eagerly anticipating the festival’s iconic celebrations. Whether it’s the vibrant kolam displays in malls or captivating dance performances, the festivities are sure to bring joy and excitement.

Deepavali isn’t complete without a feast that includes delicious curry, and Aliyaa KL is stepping up with their “Feast of Light” limited menu. Available from 21st October to 3rd November, this menu features a selection of signature authentic Sri Lankan dishes, from starters to desserts. Highlights of the mains include fish curry, prawn sothi, kalupol chicken, and more. The limited-time offer is for a minimum of 2 people, priced at just RM128 per person—a fantastic deal for a flavourful feast!

The Chicken Rice Shop has unveiled a limited edition dish, Ayam SURRia, just in time for the Deepavali celebration. This dish features grilled, then fried chicken marinated with a blend of spices, served alongside a flavourful tomato chutney. To complete the meal, pair it with their special Berry SURR, which perfectly complements the savoury flavours and is sure to leave you feeling truly “SURReal.”

One of Malaysia’s favourite restaurant franchises for local cuisine, Grandmama’s, is celebrating Deepavali with three special dishes. Their limited-time offerings include Aromatic Fried Chicken (RM31.90), Spiced Mutton Curry (RM38.90), and Classic Fish Curry (RM35.90). Each dish is served with biryani rice and complementary sides for the ultimate indulgence.
