“Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”

The popular superhero who is friendly but often suffers, Spider-Man, will be featured in an animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” on Disney+ Hotstar. The animated TV series takes place in an alternate timeline, reimagining the classic story of Peter Parker, starting from his high school days and continuing through his journey as Spider-Man, with Norman Osborn as his mentor. The series will blend the world of the MCU’s Spider-Man with the aesthetic of Spidey’s earliest comic book appearances, delivering an all-new story about the wallcrawler’s early days.

This upcoming TV miniseries, created by Chinaka Hodge, tells the story of Riri Williams, a genius MIT student from Chicago who builds an advanced suit of armour rivalling Iron Man’s. Riri’s penchant for skipping classes and using university resources for her projects leads her down a dangerous path, causing her to engage in illegal activities and eventually join the Hood and his gang to fund her invention. “Ironheart” will dive deeper into Riri’s character, following her debut in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

“Eyes of Wakanda”

“Eyes of Wakanda” is an animated television series based on the Marvel Comics location of Wakanda. It follows the Wakanda warriors who retrieve vibranium artefacts throughout history, including those of T’Challa’s ancestors, with Harris serving as the director. The show explores the lives, culture, and responsibilities of Wakanda’s elite protectors and intelligence operatives. Centred around the Dora Milaje, it unveils the intricate layers of loyalty, tradition, and the challenges of protecting a nation with global significance. The series also explores threats outside of Wakanda, beyond the “Black Panther.”

“Marvel Zombies”

What happens when zombies mix with Marvel superheroes? “Marvel Zombies” is an upcoming animated series that will premiere following its introduction in the alternate timeline of the multiverse in the “What If…?” episode “What If… Zombies?!” Characters like Hawkeye, Black Panther, and other unlikely heroes band together to combat the infected versions of their former allies and enemies, struggling to save what remains of humanity. “Marvel Zombies” promises a thrilling blend of horror, action, and twisted versions of iconic Marvel moments, offering fans a fresh yet chilling take on the superhero genre.

“Wonder Man”

The man with the power of ionic energy, originally a villain, will have his own live-action series. “Wonder Man” follows Simon Williams, a complex man who first became a villain after working with a criminal organisation when his company went bankrupt, competing with Tony Stark’s Industries. However, Simon has a change of heart and eventually becomes a powerful Avenger and an actor.
“Wonder Man” explores Simon’s journey from his initial conflicts with heroes like Iron Man to his eventual path to redemption. Marvel fans can expect an intriguing blend of action, humour, and character-driven storytelling, delving into what it truly means to be both a hero and a star in the Marvel Universe.
