GOT7 (갓세븐) member Jackson Wang (王嘉爾 / 왕잭슨) seems to be a hot topic lately, be it on the news or the net. He became a pillar of strength for his team members and even became a human anatomy example to students in a science class. The Hong Kong-born singer and rapper made headlines once again regarding his recent visit to Singapore.
Jackson was in Singapore last weekend to attend his book signing event for his comic book, titled “Under The Castle.” During his trip, he took part in many activities around the country, including visiting Universal Studios Singapore (USS) and also diving at the SEA Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Here are his well-spent activities over the weekend:
Despite being a well-known scaredy cat by his members and fans, iGOT7 (아가새), Jackson bravely entered the Under The Castle haunted house during his visit to the USS on Saturday night. Although his company TEAM WANG designed the latest attraction, the 30-year-old rapper can be seen squatting outside the house, taking a breath of relief upon escaping the place. He also visited 3 other haunted houses, including USS: Netflix’s Sweet Home; Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness; and Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings.
The haunted house was designed in conjunction with his book signing event and USS’s annual Halloween event, Halloween Horror Nights. There were also videos of fans and other guests showing him trying out the Transformers and Battlestar Galactica rides at the theme park.
The following day, Jackson was seen going scuba diving at Singapore’s S.E.A. Aquarium as part of the “Discover Scuba Diving Programme,” where he learnt the basic drills and even swam with stingrays! After his diving session, the singer attended his comic book signing event for Under The Castle, also held at the aquarium. According to Jackson, the book consists of a 31-page work revolving around a friendship between a little pumpkin character, Pumpkie, and a playful ghost, Spookie. The idol concluded his visit to Singapore by heading to an afterparty at Adventure Cove Waterpark, filled with beatboxing performances and dance sequences.
Jackson also notified fans that his label, Team Wang Design (TWD), will focus on creating the official launch of the comic and animation series related to Under The Castle in two years. The singer is also looking forward to creating kid’s clubs related to the brand.
