First a Miss Hong Kong runner-up, then a TVB star, and now a mother, Bonnie Chan (陳雅思) has achieved many milestones in her life. She married DJ Kuok Meng Jun (郭孟浚), also known as Jay Ocean and the grandson of billionaire Robert Kuok, back in 2021 since then, the former beauty queen has been living a relatively quiet life, occasionally posting on her social media. Her pregnancy was officially announced on 12th December, with a brief Instagram post captioned, “First came love, then came you 🤍”.
It turns out, the 34-year-old had already given birth months prior to the pregnancy announcement. Yesterday (Thursday, 26 December), Bonnie made a Christmas post, giving us our first glimpse of her new children. She revealed that she had been carrying twins! The two babies, affectionately nicknamed Ocean and Sun, had actually been born in September, despite the announcement being made in December.

The former TVB star then went on to share how pregnancy had made her feel. “Carrying twins was one of the toughest yet most rewarding journeys of my life,” she said in her caption. It was clear to see the love Bonnie had for her newborn children. “The moment I heard their cries and held them in my arms was indescribable. Pure magic.” However, it wasn’t entirely smooth sailing, as she also mentioned some of the challenges she faced throughout her pregnancy.
In her first trimester, the celebrity experienced waves of nausea and struggled to eat much beyond crackers, toast, and fruit. “The first four months were a whirlwind of intense nausea and extreme sensitivity to smells,” she elaborated Her second trimester was easier, and she was able to relax and enjoy her pregnancy more. She added, “The second trimester brought a brief period of relief and joy.” However, in her third trimester, her pregnancy was in full swing, bringing with it back pain and swollen feet. The first-time mother even referred to the aches as her “daily companion.”

Fans and fellow celebrities alike were thrilled, congratulating the happy couple on the wonderful news. We look forward to watching Bonnie and Meng Jun as they navigate the journey of being new parents. All the best and very happy congratulations to the couple!
