Mark Sixma is the hot topic of conversation amongst trance fans right now, the latest production maestro to emerge from the world’s dance music capital, The Netherlands.

A few months on from his largely successful Australia tour with Genesis and Mark has already made debut appearances the world over from India to Malaysia. Mark recently returned back to his homeland to appear at ASOT #650 on 15th February for a second time, after appearing a couple of years back at ASOT #550.

2013 saw Mark release the mammoth “Requiem” on W&W’s Mainstage Music imprint knocking none other than “King of Trance” Armin van Buuren off the Beatport Trance #1 spot. Along with two smash and grab collabs “Rio” [Armind] and “Tripod” [Captivating Sounds] with Klauss Goulart and Faruk Sabanci, respectively.

In the latter half of 2013 who could forget the inimitable “Character” the result of a commission for internationally renowned Dutch brewery Grolsch, coupled with a progressive house/trance crossover collaboration with Jerome Isma-Ae titled “Refused”. All this on top of also finding time to squeeze remixes in for Andy Duguid and Cosmic Gate on Black Hole Recordings:
