Travelling by flight with children is never easy as their behaviour can be unpredictable at times. A young mother once needed the help of a cabin crew to carry her son out of the plane after landing cause he was insisting to go for another ride.
This couple was also worried that their children might misbehave or cry during their flight back to Kuala Lumpur but something else happened that made the father furious.
A couple of days ago, a man named Ahmad Fahim Jafri posted a story on his Facebook about his recent MYAirline flight experience from Sabah to KL with his wife and two children, Nuh and Luth. The couple was worried about their kids disturbing other passengers with their cries but thankfully, the young ones were well-behaved throughout the journey.
He explained that it was normal for the kids to make a little noise when they were playing but the one family sitting in front of them was very displeased with his children the minute they boarded the plane. “From time to time, this family would signal or tell my kids to stay quiet. I’m not one to get into arguments so I just let it slide,” the father-of-two wrote. He then overheard a conversation between the two adult males from the aforementioned family.
According to the parent, the two men, who were speaking in Mandarin, talked about how much they wanted to slap Fahim’s son Nuh for making too much noise. Right after they landed, the young father confronted the two men by offering them the chance to hit his son just like they wanted. “I offered them 3 times in Mandarin but they were quite shocked and declined my offer. Perhaps they’re not used to being offered,” Fahim said sarcastically.
Fahim wrote that his offer for the two men to hit his son is still open and “apologised” for not getting their contact details in time when they rushed out after being confronted. He said, “If by any chance you two come across this post, do let me know your location. I will be happy to fulfill your request. Free delivery to your doorstep. If you want to slap my son, my offer is still valid. No expiry date.”
Netizens praised the father for standing up for his son despite being a non-confrontational person. Many also condemned the two men for bad-mouthing in a different language so openly and for wanting to hit a child.
