The internet community went bananas after a photo of famed US rapper Akon performing umrah with his family and friends at the holy city of Mecca circulated online recently.
Prior to performing the religious ritual, the 46-year-old successfully wrapped his concert tour in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
