Peeps, we’ve got good news for you!
Shortly after the opening of its 1st branch in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, FamilyMart, the popular convenience store franchise, will be greeting fans in another popular location in the Klang Valley – Mid Valley.
The news was announced by the company on their Facebook page in a very creative way – by revealing only the coordinates of their new location. The coordinates, 3.1174°N and 101.6778°E, were posted on a simple green and blue photo (also the signature colours of the convenience store) and a simple Google Maps search pointed us to the popular mall.
FamilyMart’s 1st branch in Malaysia just opened this month, and has since attracted many customers, who flocked to it as soon as it opened its doors on 11th November. Many fans visited the store, and it even prompted the store to close early in its 1st week as they couldn’t keep up with the demand.
Currently, FamilyMart’s only Malaysian branch is located at Wisma Lim Foo Yong, Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.
UPDATE (30th November, 2:30pm):
It’s confirmed!
FamilyMart’s 2nd Malaysia branch will open in Mid Valley Megamall on 3rd December (Saturday), and the company announced its opening via a Facebook post.
One of our loyal readers have also spotted the convenience store, which is located next to FOS at unit F-027C, 1st Floor North Wing.
Oh man, we can’t wait for the opening!
