The wait is almost over. “Fallout” returns to Prime Video on 17th December 2025, and the new trailer delivers an even bigger adventure through the irradiated wasteland. Expect mutated creatures, explosive action, and surprising new cast members joining the journey.
With over 100 million viewers worldwide, the first season became Prime Video’s breakout hit. Now, Season Two takes the story to New Vegas, one of the most iconic locations from the video game series.
The Journey to New Vegas

Season Two picks up after the explosive events of the first season finale, following the survivors as they venture into the Mojave wasteland and the legendary city of New Vegas. For fans of the video game series, this setting offers familiar yet thrilling territory, as New Vegas represents one of the franchise’s most beloved locations.
The trailer reveals bigger action sequences and more mutated creatures. The series continues to blend dark humor with intense action while exploring the contrast between the sheltered vault dwellers and the brutal wasteland above.
New Faces Join the Wasteland

Two major casting announcements have fans excited: Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin are joining the ensemble. While their roles remain undisclosed, their addition to the cast suggests the series is expanding its world with intriguing new characters. The core cast returns as well, with Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner all reprising their roles.
Release Strategy and What Lies Ahead

Rather than dropping all episodes at once, Prime Video is embracing a weekly release format for the eight-episode second season. The premiere arrives 17th December 2025, with new episodes rolling out each week until the season finale on 4th February 2026. This approach allows for sustained conversation and theorizing among fans—a fitting strategy for a series packed with mysteries and twists.
Prime Video has already confirmed a third season before Season Two even premieres. Executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy continue to guide the series alongside Bethesda Game Studios.

All episodes from Season One are available to stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries. New viewers still have time to catch up before the 17th December premiere.
The “Fallout” universe has always been about survival, dark humour, and discovering what humanity becomes when civilisation falls. If the trailer is any indication, Season Two is ready to explore those themes in even more spectacular fashion.
