Eyka Farhana is no stranger to controversy. The local actress has often been subjected to online criticisms, particularly due to her numerous postings of herself clad in revealing outfits on her personal social media.
Speaking to Kosmo recently, Eyka made it clear that she does not let all the negative comments affect her. She also stated that the opinions about her sexy dressing are subjective. At the same time, she clarified that she has kept a sexy image for a long time.
“People have long known that I’m like that. I do wear shorts. In fact, there are other artistes who appear in more revealing outfits. Then again, many people have different opinions on them,” the 27-year-old said. In addition, Eyka argued that some of her fans might be shocked by her dressing. This is because most of them are used to seeing her wearing decent outfits in her movies and TV series.
According to her, “Most of the dramas and movies I acted in required me to wear modest and decent outfits. So, when I occasionally wear revealing clothes like skirts for instance, then people will make an issue out of it. Netizens are actually used to seeing me wearing decent clothes in (my) drama. But if it’s true that the clothes I wore trigger a lot of netizens, I will never wear them again.”

During the chat with the publication, Eyka (real name Wan Atiqa Farhana Wan Sarmizi) also refused to disclose further about her rumoured relationship with footballer Akhyar Rashid. “I do not want to comment about my personal relationship. I feel it is better to keep my mouth shut rather than getting criticised,” the “Autumn In Wales” star was quoted as saying.
