Experience An Immersive Oriental Garden At Suria KLCC This CNY Season

Suria KLCC, Malaysia’s iconic experiential shopping haven, welcomes the Year of the Snake with its spectacular Chinese New Year decor. From now till 9th February, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a celebration like no other, blending tradition and modernity in a truly unforgettable experience.

This year’s theme, a contemporary Chinese Garden, transforms the mall into a breathtaking tapestry of heritage-inspired décor, vibrant cultural performances, and enticing shopping rewards. It’s a harmonious fusion of elegance and festivity, offering a unique way to honour tradition while embracing the vibrancy of the season.

Step into a mesmerising monochrome of red and gold at Suria KLCC’s Centre Court, where a contemporary Chinese Garden comes to life with intricate Chinese paper-cutting motifs. At its heart, a grand arch welcomes you to explore its treasures, from a charming Chinese pagoda to the twelve Chinese zodiacs, each artfully displayed to honour tradition.

The highlight is a picturesque bridge spanning an interactive digital koi pond—a magical feature where shoppers can select heartfelt wishes and watch them bloom beautifully on the water’s surface. Towering above it all is the Gold Blossoming Tree of Prosperity, a stunning symbol of abundance and good fortune that radiates the spirit of the season.

Outside at the Esplanade KLCC, the splendour continues with a majestic Chinese grand arch flanked by stately towers. Draped in auspicious red lanterns, the arch forms a luminous tunnel, creating the ultimate backdrop for festive photos and unforgettable memories.

Visitors can look forward to a line-up of cultural performances and engaging activities. Highlights include:

  • Lion Dance: Experience the energy of traditional Lion Dance performances.
  • Chinese Instrument Music: Serenades by traditional instruments such as the erhu and guzheng.
  • Jewellery Workshop: Shoppers can participate in jewellery-making sessions in collaboration  with Luna Jewellery.
FILA Launch, Dockers Preview, TikTok Awards & More: Dope Events We Hit Up This Week!

Suria KLCC is making this Chinese New Year even more rewarding with exclusive perks for shoppers. As per usual, shoppers who spend a certain amount will be entitled to Suria KLCC Shopping e-Vouchers along with a beautifully designed set of Suria KLCC Red Packets.

This year’s celebrations also embrace a meaningful cause. Supporting mental health awareness, shoppers can purchase a Suria Ribbon Pin for RM10. Each pin comes with the opportunity to share your wishes, tossing them onto the Gold Blossoming Tree of Prosperity at the Centre Court—an act that combines hope, giving, and festive cheer in one beautiful gesture.
