Great news for all Malaysian XBACKS! Chinese singer Lay Zhang Yixing (레이/张艺兴) recently teased his upcoming tour, “Grandline 4: Step” and it looks like he’s coming back to Malaysia!

On 20th May (Monday), the EXO member-turned-soloist dropped the teaser poster for his upcoming tour, which will kickstart later this year. In the poster, Lay listed several countries included in the tour – and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia made the list! Other cities also part of the tour include Seoul, Jakarta, New York and Los Angeles.

Malaysian fans have already expressed excitement to catch the singer live in person. As we know, Lay is no stranger to performing in Kuala Lumpur since he has previously performed at concerts as both an EXO member and a solo artist. His last solo concert in KL, “Grandline II: Infinite Lands”, had sold out and received critical acclaim. The 32-year-old was also in town last December for a private listening party with his XBACKS.

Lay made his musical debut in 2012 as a member of K-pop powerhouse EXO and its China-based subunit EXO-M. The Chinese singer then made his solo debut in 2016 and has since found huge success, topping charts with his releases. Besides being a singer, Lay is a renowned actor, having worked in hit films such as “No More Bets” and “The Island”. His upcoming tour marks the fourth instalment of his hugely successful “Grandline tour series”.

Unfortunately, Lay didn’t share much information about “Grandline 4: Step in Kuala Lumpur” but InTour Live has confirmed that they will be the organiser for the concert, along with AEG Presents Asia. More details are expected to be released soon – so stay tuned to InTour Live and AEG Presents Asia’s social media.
