EXO Member D.O. (Doh Kyung Soo) To Hold Concert In Kuala Lumpur; Tix & Seating Plan Unveiled

South Korean singer-actor Doh Kyung Soo (도경수) – or better know as D.O. from EXO (엑소) – is set to hold his first ever solo Fan Concert “Bloom” in Malaysia later this year.

During the “Doh Kyung Soo Birthday Party” fan meeting in Seoul, the 31-year-old superstar expressed his birthday wish – “This year, I will visit fans more often.” Staying true to that goal, D.O. soon launched his Asian fan concert tour – marking this project his first solo tour in 12 years since his debut.

D.O. made his long-awaited comeback this May with his third mini album “Blossom”. Upon release, it shot to the top of iTunes charts in 36 regions across the globe, proving his immersed popularity. But it wasn’t just the album that captured hearts and minds; the single “Mars” also soared to unprecedented heights, topping iTunes Top Songs charts in an impressive 23 regions.

As a versatile artist, Doh Kyung Soo has also dabbled in acting and appeared on various variety shows. His latest movie, titled “The Moon”, has earned him several Best Actor Nominations for his role as an astronaut. But for the “Bloom” Fan Concert, the singer is hoping to connect with fans in a different way.

“Up until now, I’ve always promoted with my [fellow EXO] members, so I didn’t have many opportunities to stand on stage alone. During this fan-con tour of Asia, I’ll be singing multiple songs on my own including the new singles from my new EP that has released early this May. I’m really nervous, but I’m also equally excited. When I see the eyes of my fans on stage, I gain a ton of energy. That huge energy I receive becomes my driving force,” he recently said.
