Swedish House Mafia: #OneLastTourKL

Together the Swedes Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso joined their prolific individual talents into one of dance music’s most commercially successful and intriguing brands, leading the charge of electronic dance music (EDM) American takeover. With five widely successful singles in two years, SHM dominated traditional music.

But the EDM gods left their loyal fans crying buckets the day they announced that they were splitting up. Sure, even we were shaken by the news. But all hope was not lost because:

  1. Swedish House Mafia would still be working as individual DJs/producers.
  2. Their “Until Now” album was slated to be released.
  3. They announced that they were going to go on “One Last Tour”.

So for those of you who have been praying for Swedish House Mafia to come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, let us just say that your prayers have been answered! On 22nd October, concert promoter JS Concert Productions whispered that they’re about to announce their next big act, complete with a “dotted logo” picture:

Ah, mysterious. But true fans would know and immediately make the connection.

Since then, their Facebook page has been a flurry of “spotting dots” and curious circular objects seen all over Malaysia. Trust these promoters to know how to hype (no pun intended) up a highly anticipated event!

And today, we spied a poster on the interwebs, more or less confirmed our suspicion that Swedish House Mafia is, in fact, going to make their way to sunny ol’ Malaysia for the very first time.

Yuh huh!

Albeit for a very last tour. Or so they say.

Deets are as follows:
