Hello Kitty, the world’s most famous feline character, will be celebrating her 40th birthday on 1st November this year and she wants you to be a part of it!
The 5km Hello Kitty Run Singapore is considered to be the only Hello Kitty birthday bash in Southeast Asia, and will feature a specially designed birthday cake and birthday song sung by 15,000 fans. The fun run will see participants covering a 5km route linking will iconic landmarks around the city. It is open to participants of all ages and aims to gather fans and non-fans alike.
What’s in it for them? Well, an exclusive runner’s T-shirt, a special edition commemorative Hello Kitty plush toy, a chance to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 40th birthday in the most massive way ever, and a ball of fun! Fringe activities including the Hello Kitty Village will also be held.
Want in? Registration is now open on their website and will close when capacity is full. Which basically means that it’s on a first-come-first-serve basis so you better hurry if you want to reserve your spot!
