Emporio Armani Pavilion KL Store Launch
We attended the grand opening of the revamped Emporio Armani store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, which was graced by a galaxy of stars, including Thai actor and style icon, Nani Hirunkit! To say that Nani was a big draw is an understatement, as a large number of mostly female fans showed up at Pavilion KL to catch a glimpse of him.
Local celebrities, influencers and other notable guests were also in attendance, including Hael Husaini, Eyka Farhana, Alvin Chong, Mierul Aiman, Kuan siblings Jestinna, and Christinna, Ameera Khan and Jane Chuck, all of whom were looking chic in Emporio Armani’s signature designs.
The revamped store now exudes an ambience of otherworldly weightlessness thanks to a display concept crafted by Giorgio Armani and his team. So if you’re ever at Pavilion KL, make a beeline for the Emporio Armani store on level 3, near Parkson!

Pandora Launches New Holiday Collection
It’s not even November yet, but Pandora Malaysia is already in a festive mood, as they recently debuted their brand new holiday campaign, “Loves, Unboxed”, at the newly-opened Amp Cafe. We were on the scene and spotted influencers Tiffany Chew, Navinder Kaur and Nina Ariff among the attendees. The trio later took center stage to express their love for their favourite jewellery pieces from the new collection.
From classic jewellery motifs to precious hearts and celestial symbols – the Pandora sets are the perfect gifts for capturing that special holiday feeling. Some of the celestial pieces draw inspiration from the magic of a winter night sky. Take a cue from the aforementioned content creators, and mix and match the charms, or even add on to your existing look.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s ‘Love & Light Deepavali’
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is celebrating Deepavali in epic style – it recently unveiled its Festival of Lights decorations, which include eye-catching flowers, fabric lanterns, shimmering diyas lamps and colourful kolams at the iconic Crystal Fountain. The lights and colours pay homage to Hindu culture, symbolising the triumphant victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.
There will also be cultural dance performances near the Crystal Fountain kolam and Connection precinct on 29th October; and a cultural orchestra band performance on 4th November. While you’re at Pavilion KL, check out the Yeshan Sarees Exhibition on Level 5, featuring 30 distinct saree styles meticulously crafted in India by Yeshan Sarees that show off the rich tapestry of Indian traditional wear.

Lili Marleen Sunset Cruise
Ever wondered what it’s like to go on a holiday cruise? Well, we had a taste of just that during a recent excursion on the Lili Marleen Cruise ship off Port Klang! The ship we boarded was certainly an ideal event space for company outings, private gatherings or parties, product launches or just a pop-up dinner, while taking in the beauty of the coast and the gorgeous sunset.
While the weather wasn’t on our side that evening, we still enjoyed the view of the sun setting beyond the horizon. It was simply beautiful, and our photos did not do the experience justice. If you think the ship looks fancy now, then you should look forward to next year, as the Lili Marleen is currently in the process of being refurbished so that guests will be even more comfortable.

G-SHOCK’s 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Tour
Celebrating four decades of its “Rooted in Toughness” journey, G-SHOCK has been on a pop-up tour across Southeast Asia, with the latest (and last) pitstop being Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. We were among the first to embark on an immersive journey back in time with the pioneering G-SHOCK DW-5600C in 1983, right up to the G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary collections, including the Clear Remix series, Remaster Black series, Recrystallized series, Adventurer’s Stone series, Flare Red series, and the highly-anticipated G-SHOCK x Eric Haze collaboration watch.
Another highlight from the exhibition were the portraits of 88rising artists, including Rich Brian, Warren Hue, Spence Lee, Dumbfounded, Ylona Garcia, Milli, Atarashii Gakko!, Niki, and Stephanie Poetri. Their portraits artfully convey the essence of G-SHOCK’s legacy, highlighting the artists’ origins and their image of modern toughness. The collaboration with 88rising has also resulted in a record-breaking feat for featuring the highest number of 88rising artists in a brand campaign.

“Musicians For Musicians” Benefit Concert PC
Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia extends an invitation to music lovers of all ages to immerse themselves in the magic of live band music. During a recent press conference, we not only got more information on the upcoming star-studded concert, but were also treated to a special live performance of the show’s theme song, “PESONA HARAPAN,” specially composed by veteran Malaysian singer-songwriter, Royston Sta Maria.
The line-up for the benefit concert includes Alleycats, Lord Justice, Sons of Adam, Stag, Strollers, Michael Veerappan & Trio (ft. Dasha Logan), Dato Leonard Tan, Bala, JAMMERZ, Union Band, 5 Ways, Small Stones, Jerry Arul, Plain Seven, Royston Sta Maria, NRG, 9 Lives, Heavy Machine, Plain Sevan, Winston Leo and many more!
The concert will be held at Menara BAC this 3rd December and tickets are on sale now! All proceeds will be directed towards Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia to help local musicians employed in clubs, hotels, and pubs lead independent lives, enjoy a decent standard of living, and sustain their creative pursuits.

Les Bouchons KL Grand Opening
We attended the highly-anticipated grand opening of Les Bouchons KL, which was an exercise in high style! The event kicked-off with an elegant ribbon-cutting ceremony carried out by the Chief Executive Officer of L’Angélus Group, Pinaki Rath, and the Guest of Honour, His Excellency Mr Axel Cruau, Ambassador of France to Malaysia. This was followed by the cutting of an eye-catching champagne-shaped cake.
We have to give a special shoutout to emcee Hossan Leong, who added to the festive atmosphere with his wonderful performance of French songs; and to Chef Rao and team who ensured we had plenty of delicious canapés and artisanal cocktails for the soirée. Needless to say, it was a very memorable opening at Les Bouchons with its lovely ambience, aesthetics and culinary vibe!

Mayang X Julia Farhana Marin Launch
In support of the Malaysia Mental Health Association, MAYANG, a fashion brand that marries style and affordability, joined hands with Julia Farhana Marin to create a powerful collaboration – and we were on hand for the partnership’s memorable launch.
The campaign promises a series of engaging activities and events aimed at fostering awareness about mental health and breaking its stigma, while showcasing and promoting alluring, wonderfully feminine apparel, including fashionable scarves. The initiative was also joined by CocoDry, which is dedicating a portion of their proceeds to MAYANG.

Haier ‘Inspired Living’ Launch
We got inspo on how to live our lives more fully when we visited Haier for their Inspired Living New Products Launch. Held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the event saw the unveiling of the latest line of smart home appliances that would make our everyday lives easier, including energy-efficient washing machines and Haier’s very first OLED TV in 55” and 98”.
In conjunction with the launch, Haier Malaysia is rewarding customers who purchase selected household appliances with savings of up to 50%, Touch ‘n Go e-wallet credit worth up to RM400, and a variety of gifts, including a Sony PlayStation 5, the latter of which is given to the first 50 customers.

Nando’s Art Of Grilling Workshop
We had the opportunity to partake in Nando’s Art of Grilling, a specially-designed grilling crash course influenced by their yearly International Grillers’ Challenge (IGC). We learned everything, from their 24-hour marinade to their careful racking, to firing it up on the grill.
Throughout the practical experience, we were led by Master Griller, Muhammad Nazib bin Juhari, second runner-up of the IGC. Not only did we have an enjoyable time behind the grill and learned the secrets to a perfectly-grilled chicken, our chickens were even judged based on the criteria required at the IGC!

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Launch & Pop-Up
We swung by Bukit Bintang to welcome the official release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5. We were among the lucky few given the opportunity to play and test the first 20 minutes of Marvel’s latest action-packed, web-slinging game. It was a blast! Later, we participated in a little Mission Hunt event, where we were asked to explore and collect stamps from the little Coney Island all the way to the Daily Bugle News Stand.

PUMA x IVE Y2K Flashback Party
We went back in time to the Y2K era with PUMA and IVE! The ‘PUMA x IVE Flash Back Party’ transported guests to the glitzy and exhilarating era of sparkly outfits, flip phones and blue eyeshadow – and what a ride it was. Held at Rollerwa+ LaLaport BBCC, the evening was filled with nostalgic charm as we celebrated the release of PUMA’s Teveris Nitro line, launched in collaboration with K-pop girl group IVE.
Guests showed up in their take on Y2K fashion, complete with vibrant makeup and glittering accessories. Of course, a party at a roller rink calls for some roller skating, so guests had full reign of the venue to skate to their hearts’ desire. The peeps at PUMA also prepared special activities, like a makeover station and personalised “locker” backdrop for those Instagram shots. Also – a shout out to the Rollerwa+ team for their awesome dance routine and entertaining guests with their jaw-dropping skating skills.

Fahrenheit88’s ‘Artistry Deepavali’
We had the opportunity to check out Fahrenheit88’s ‘Artistry Deepavali’ campaign and what the mall is offering visitors for this year’s Festival of Lights celebration. As we entered the Fahrenheit88 centre court, we were greeted by a stunning 10-foot sand sculpture of a peacock. The beautiful sculpture was the creation of Malaysian sand sculptor, Ikhwan Saloot, who also gave us a hands-on workshop on sand sculpting.
And before we continued the celebration, we changed into some beautiful traditional Indian and Punjabi attire, courtesy of Amaratpal Bonnie. We later tried our hands at henna painting under the guidance of henna artist, Yogeswary, from Mhenna Artwork. A Deepavali celebration wouldn’t be complete without a performance of traditional Indian dance – and we had front-row seats to one by local dance theatre, Mahavidya Dance Theatre. The lovely dancers were also our teachers in a dance class held right at Fahrenheit88 mall!

Carlo Rino A/W2023 Collection Showcase
The lovely folks at Carlo Rino invited us to their store at Mid Valley Megamall to check out their new Autumn-Winter 2023 collection. Themed ‘Journey of Wonder’, the collection comprises several product lines that are perfect for everyone – from office ladies (OL) who want to add colour to their corporate clothes, to the outgoing gal with a love for denim.
Besides the beautiful Prism and Denim collections, Carlo Rino also debuted the Curva collection, which will definitely catch your attention with its unique design. But the highlight of the AW23 collection is the brand’s collaboration with the much-loved Harry Potter franchise, comprising accessories bearing the emblems and colours of all the Hogwarts houses – and of Hogwarts itself.
