Word on the street has it that Ella Chen (陳嘉樺) will be partying ways with her Taiwanese management company, HIM International Music.
Naturally, longtime fans are worried about the future of her girl group S.H.E. Will Ella still continue to make music with her bandmates of 17 years – Selina Jen (任家萱) and Hebe Tien (田馥甄)?
Her Malaysian husband, Alvin Lai, released a statement saying, “When the time is right, Ella will explain.” However, to fans who have been following the Taiwanese girl group for more than a decade, Alvin assures that they have nothing to worry about. “Not even a typhoon could tear them apart,” he clarified.
The Chinese beauty, who celebrated her 37th birthday with Selena and Hebe on 18th June, has been busy taking on the role as vocal instructor in variety show “Produce 101” (創造101). Besides her time on screen, Ella has also been occupied with mummy duties. Both she and Alvin welcome their first child – a baby boy – in April last year.
