Yet another big festival brand has set its sights on a location in the Asian region! Back in October 2014, Tomorrowland announced that they’re furthering their expansion by bringing their popular dance music festival to India. Let’s not forget that Ultra Music Festival (UMF) has long since invaded some countries in the Asian region such as South Korea and Japan. As a matter of fact, just a few months ago, UMF set records in Japan with their Tokyo installation of the festival!
Unsurprisingly, this would encourage other promoters to follow suit. Now going on its seventh year, Made Event’s Electric Zoo, the premiere electronic festival of New York City, have spotted the shores of Japan as its next destination.
With Electric Zoo: Transformed set for Labor Day Weekend, this iteration will be called Electric Zoo Tokyo Beach, seeing as that it will take place on Makuhari Beach during the Golden Week Holiday aka a week-long observation of citizen holidays in Japan, on May 5th 2015.
Time to make plans to go to Japan this year? We think so!
