You guys, Raven Baxter is coming back to the Disney Channel 🙂
In the latest episode of ABC’s “The View”, Raven-Symoné announced that she and the Disney Channel are working very, very hard in producing a “That’s So Raven” spin-off. And guess what? She will be starring in it!
According to Symoné, “That’s So Raven 2” (working title) will revolve around Raven Baxter, who is a single mother, and her 2 kids, one of whom has inherited her psychic “visions”.
“Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world.Her performance in ‘That’s So Raven’ is timeless. We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we’re looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family.” said Disney Channel executive vice president Adam Bonnet.
It’s still unsure if other series regulars, such as Orlando Brown (Eddie) and Anneliese Van der Pol (Chelsea), are coming back to the upcoming spin-off but we sure are stoked about the news!
Created by Michael Poryes and Susan Sherman, “That’s So Raven” is a comedy sitcom that ran on the Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007. The show was set in San Francisco and revolved around a psychic teenager named Raven Baxter.
