K-Drama fans, rejoice!

Representatives of the hit drama series, “Descendants Of The Sun” (태양의 후예), announced that their OST concert will be touring 4 different countries in Asia, including Malaysia. Though the concert date has yet to be set, the news itself is enough to get us all hyped up!

“The OST concert will be held in 7 locations in 4 countries, including Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and various cities in China such as Beijing and Hong Kong,” said drama officials yesterday (22nd May).

The drama representative added that although the drama has ended, the passion and excitement for it still remains. He said, “‘Descendants of the Sun’ established itself as a Hallyu drama. Because of this, we quickly received requests for the OST concerts”.

According to Naver, the management team of the first concert and event organisers from the 4 countries have either already completed signing a letter of understanding or are in the process of doing so.

The first “Descendants Of The Sun” OST concert was held on 14th May at the Hall of Peace in Kyung Hee University, Seoul. The auditorium was packed with 7,000 spectators and the concert featured beloved scenes from the drama, behind-the-scene reel moments, and unforgettable songs performed by their original singers.

Cast from the drama such as Jin Goo, Kim Ji Won, Lee Seung Jun, and Seo Jung Yeon also made special appearances.

Who knows, we might be able to see some of them in Malaysia too 🙂

“Descendants Of The Sun” will “Always” have a special place in our hearts, whenever, wherever we are. Perfect time to re-watch the series again, don’t you think? 😉
