Introducing Flow – the first hourly hotel booking app that recently debuted in Malaysia. Since its launch in Hong Kong in 2018, Flow has since expanded to Macau and Singapore, allowing travellers to book hotels by the hour. It could be a simple daycation, microstay, or a weekend getaway.

Through the Flow app, users can book 3- to 5-star hotel rooms on an hourly basis at a fraction of the regular cost at over 40 hotels within Klang Valley. Hotel rooms available on Flow are available between the price range of RM40 – RM300.

“Flow is designed to open up a whole new world of possibilities for busy and spontaneous young adults, all just by reimagining how hotel rooms can be used. We have taken a concept previously only reserved for budget hotels and through technology and ingenuity, successfully applied it to 3- to 5-star hotels across the globe. Whether they’re looking to relax, escape, have fun or perhaps to just find some privacy – Flow allows them to book a micro-stay at hotels just as quickly as they can upload a picture on Instagram,” said Eric Lai, co-founder of Flow.

Since Flow offers customizability and convenience, users are no longer restricted to the usual check-in and checkout times. Plus, you’re only paying for the specific amount of time spent at the hotel. To check out the list of hotels within walking distance or one-train stop away, the map function on the app comes in handy.

“Stressful day at work and need somewhere to unwind for a few hours, Flow has got you covered. Feeling like using top-class fitness facilities like the gym and pool that only a 5-star hotel can offer, Flow has you covered too. Whatever the occasion, however short, with Flow you are able to experience the same level of luxury only at a better price,” Eric added.

To book through Flow, you’ll need to download the app and register your details. When selecting your preferred hotel, users can specify their preferred time slot or hourly period. You can either opt to pay at the hotel or prepay online. Rest assured that free cancellation is allowed before the stipulated check-in time.

The Flow app will soon be expanding to other major cities, including Penang and Johor Bharu. For more info, check out their official website.
