Taiwanese singer Cyndi Wang (王心凌) is currently in Malaysia for her “SUGAR HIGH World Tour Concert” which will be held at Resorts World Genting on 22nd and 23rd March. While Cyndi is used to the many obstacles she could face during her tour, it seems she wasn’t ready for this one.
The “Taiwanese Sweetheart” was apparently caught off guard yesterday (20th March) by a horrendous traffic jam when she was going up to Resorts World Genting. The sight left her amazed and fans found humour in Cyndi’s reaction to it, all recorded on her Instagram, of course.

Cyndi Wang touched down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday, much to the delight of fans. After a warm welcome, the singer and her crew headed off to Genting to prepare for her upcoming performance. However, a wrench was thrown into their plans by a traffic jam leading up to the highlands.
The singer later shared her amazement at the phenomenon on her socials. Apparently, traffic was at a standstill, which allowed her to get down from the car to record the view. “It’s like a roadside parking lot,” she commented, glancing at the cars lined up along the road. “Many people have been resting on the roadside and waiting for about half an hour, but (we) haven’t moved at all!”
Netizens later shared that the jam may have been caused by an accident involving a tow truck around the mid-levels of Genting. But, others joked that it was actually caused by her. “I was stuck in traffic just to see you,” one fan said. “(This is) all just to see you run up the mountain,” another teased. A few also thanked her for her hard work, promising to see her soon.

Well, that was certainly one way to welcome the Taiwanese singer to Malaysia! Hopefully, the traffic jam wasn’t too tiring for Cyndi, especially with her upcoming performance. Still, we wish Cyndi Wang all the best as we look forward to her concert this Friday and Saturday!
