People often enjoy watching magic performances despite knowing that they’re being fooled. We’ve seen countless street magic performances in real life and also on reality TV.
But who would’ve thought that you can enjoy this kind of performance at your local 7-Eleven store? This customer had the pleasure of being an audience to this young cashier magician when he performed for him recently.

Yesterday (Tuesday, 9th May), Twitter user @jillmisai posted a video of a 7-Eleven cashier showing off his magic skills to a customer. The netizen did not, however, mention if he was the one recording or if the video came from another source. In the video, the cashier started off his “show” by performing a simple trick where the customer had to pick a card from a deck.
The customer was impressed by the first two tricks but it was the last trick that got everyone baffled. The magician asked the customer to pick a card and sign his name on it. The signed card was placed back into the deck where the 7E employee reshuffled them. The card magically appeared at the top of the deck after the customer was asked to snap his fingers.
The staff member asked his audience to carefully look at the card being placed back into the deck. With the snap of his fingers, the card was then seen in his mouth. Blown away, the customer then thanked the magician for the wonderful performance. Netizens responded to the video saying that they were all impressed by his tricks and praised his skills. Others joked that he was using witchcraft.
Some netizens said they are familiar with the technique but we’ll leave that to your imagination as a magician should never reveal their secrets. At the time of writing, there is no information on which 7E outlet he works at but we’d love to see more.
