As the name suggests, 1908 pays homage to the year Converse was born – but this isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about pushing boundaries, celebrating bold design, and breathing new life into forgotten icons from the Converse vault. And leading the charge? The debut of two reworked silhouettes: the 1908 Naut-1 and the 1908 Coach Jogger.
A Legacy That Speaks Louder Than Words
Since its founding, Converse has built more than just shoes – it’s built a cultural archive that spans music, sport, fashion, and street style. This treasure trove of prototypes, production samples, and experimental designs tells the story of a brand that has never stopped evolving. The Naut-1: Sea Legs, Street Swagger
Originally inspired by Converse’s 1913 yachting shoe, the Naut-1 sailed into the scene in the early ’70s – and made waves. With features like non-corroding eyelets, quick-dry sponge tech, and herringbone tread for grip, it was built for the sea but styled for the streets. Fast forward to today, and the Naut-1 is getting a revamp that stays true to its functional roots while dialling up the style game.
The 1908 Naut-1 drops in bold new colourways like Starlight Blue, Dachshund, Pastel Yellow, and Cannoli Cream – because who says boat shoes can’t flex a little personality?
The Coach Jogger: A Marathon, Not A Sprint
The Coach Jogger was born in 1976, during the golden age of running. With a wedge sole, wrap-around heel detailing, and versatile design, it was the go-to for athletes and casual joggers alike. Now, Tyler’s remix preserves that performance DNA while updating the silhouette for today’s streets.
Expect the Coach Jogger to hit hard in Forest Shade, Bistre, and Quiet Tide – with two exclusive colourways dropping only at the LA pop-up.
