Contest: Win Tickets To The #ProjectAlmanac Premiere Screening

Project Almanac (formerly “Almanac”, “Welcome to Yesterday” and also known as “Cinema One”) is an upcoming American sci-fi adventure film directed by Dean Israelite and written by Jason Harry Pagan and Andrew Deutschman. Filmed in 2013, the movie is co-produced by Michael Bay and was originally planned for an early 2014 release.

The release date was later moved to 30th Jan 2015.

Project Almanac

The film will be presented in found footage, and the plot centres on the creation of a time machine. A group of friends discover plans to build a time machine and then build one themselves. They use the time machine initially to undo past mistakes, and eventually their goals turn towards their own gain and pleasure but soon realise that changing the past has dire consequences in the future which hurts some people along the way.

Deets of the premiere screening are as follows:

Date: 26th Jan 2015 (Monday)

Time: 9pm

Venue: TGV 1 Utama

  1. Winners’ names will be compiled and announced on our site 26th Jan (Monday).
  2. Winners are required to redeem their tickets at the cinema on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  3. Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Hype Malaysia reserves the right to refuse the collection of tickets for those who attempt to transfer it from one contest winner (in whose name it is registered) to another person.
  4. Organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of this contest at their own discretion without prior notice.
  5. The judges’ decision is final, conclusive, and no further correspondence shall be entertained.
  6. Submissions close on 25th Jan (Sunday) at 6pm.
